Hello my journal,
For this entry I will practice my writing skills to better my professionalism in everything that I do. I realize that there are so many aspects of my life I need to work on, and one of the key facets is building a professional attitude.
Why do I need to build a professional attitude you may ask yourself. The answer is simple, I will need it to succeed in the financial industry. I am already 21 years old and as such I must hold myself to a more mature standard. This professional attitude I must work on developing will influence all areas of my life, from how I speak and write to the manners I will try my best to exhibit while I eat.
A more professional attitude will prepare me for future opportunities in such a way that employers and partners will trust me.
On a side note, here are some skills I'd also like to develop. I'd like to be able to consistently beat the S&P 500's annual performance by at least 15%. I'd also like to be able to speak, influence, entertain, and motivate large audiences to my favor. If I can reach the first skill level, then all I would need to do is fulfill the legal requirements for a fund and find a means of acquiring large amounts of capital.
Now on my path to achieving that skill level, I'll need to survive so I must get a job in the financial industry that can bring me to a higher level. So far, one job I am looking at is the title of Junior Financial Analyst- where one does research and prepares models for dozens of companies to help senior analysts and portfolio managers make decisions.
I still haven't fully jumped in to the financial industry yet, I will research some more tomorrow for the best path I should take.
So that is all for now, good night.
